And men were scorched with great
heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and
they did not repent and give Him glory.

This judgment will cause men to “blaspheme
the name of God” and accuse His character instead of
taking responsibility for their sin and repenting.

This bowl will be a prophetic message
to the earth that science will not be able to explain away. Its scorching fire
and great heat will be a prophetic token of the fire that many will experience
in the Lake of Fire.
Jeremiah 19:8 I will make this city desolate and a hissing;
everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss because of all its
plagues.
