Revelation 2:19

“I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.

·        This church was affirmed for their ministry and endurance in persecution. This is the only church in Revelation commended for both love and service.

·        They increased in their work of ministry. Their deeds were more in number and quality than in their earlier days of ministry.

Genesis 6:5  Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Psalm 94:11  The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
