Again
they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up
forever and ever!”

- · Praising God for what we have is praying in the most effectual manner for what is yet further to be done for us; the praises of the saints blow up the fire of God’s wrath against the common enemy (MH)
Isaiah 34:10 It shall not be quenched night or day; its
smoke shall ascend forever. From
generation to generation it shall lie waste; no one shall pass through it
forever and ever.
Psalm 37:20 But the wicked shall perish; and the enemies
of the LORD, like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.
