After these things I looked, and
behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes,
peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed
with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud
voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the
Lamb!”
- · Though the church of God is but a little flock, in comparison of the wicked world, yet it is no contemptible society, but really large, and to be still more enlarged (MH)
- · They stand before the throne – the throne of God would be inaccessible to sinners were it not for a Mediator (MH)
Leviticus 23:40 And you shall take for yourselves on the
first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palm trees, the boughs of
leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the LORD
your God for seven days.
