The woman was arrayed in purple and
scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her
hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
Daniel 11:38 But in their place he shall honor a god of
fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold
and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things.
Ephesians 5:5 For this you know, that no fornicator,
unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in
the kingdom of Christ and God.
