His tail drew a third of the stars of
heaven and threw them to the earth. And
the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her
Child as soon as it was born.
Exodus 1:16 and he said, “When you do the duties of a
midwife for the Hebrew women, and see them on the birthstools, if it is a son,
then you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, then she shall live.”

And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling
