Revelation 9:6

In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.

• ·        Unfortunately, this “sting” does not bring the desired repentance, but instead men desire death. (CS)

• ·        The anguish of a scorpion sting drives men to great despair and even panic, so that men seek suicide instead of God, but are unable to do it. In an unspecified way, God doesn’t allow them to kill themselves.
